SELLING ONE OF MY PRECIOUS GEMS:

Celebrity photo and gossip website.

The site was built back in 2006 as a hobby. It is built entirely on Wordpress. This listing is for the COMPLETE website (domain name & content). This website is one of my gems. It is a semi-automatic website; meaning it gets content automatically from various sources, plus I hire people once a week to add content once a week. You can leave it running on autopilot if you want but I always like to add some original content. All content and photos fetched from outside sources open in a new browser window so visitors stay in the site and keep browsing.
The admin area is very easy to use (if you dont know how to use Wordpress, its very similar to microsoft Word). I don't have time to add content so I hired other people to do it (mostly friends and family members in need of some cash).
RSS subscriptions come and go all the time.. the all time high was 357 readers last year. It dropped some, then went back up and dropped some more. I guess this all has to do with traffic and content. The site got "dugg" early this year (huge traffic spike) so I had to change hosting (I can help you get the right hosting to prevent problems). Now the site is configured to prevent outage if a story gets dugg. Celebrity stories are dugg a lot, that's why this is a great site.

Why am I selling if it makes $1,300 on average per month?
Well, the site runs on autopilot, but I have never let it run by itself. I always added little original content and that's one of the secrets to maintaining traffic flowing. I have never liked duplicate content so I tend to update with original content once a week (at least).
I am selling because I need some cash to buy another website I am VERY interested in (I am not a big fan of celebrities believe it or not). I know this site has TONS of potential but it needs someone more experienced than me... preferably someone with online marketing experience who can take the site to the next level.
Revenue Details
The website has made $11,876.30 so far this year ($1,300/month on avg.)
I mostly promote cpa offers from various networks, they pay really good money (see attached images).I have also promoted clickbank products with GREAT results (see attached images). I have also promoted dating/matchmaking sites with good results (see attached images).
I have inserted advertising from Adbrite and Clicksor plus I have sold banners by myself. I haven't tried Google Adsense, but I'm sure it could add a nice chunk of income to it. I haven't tried adsense because I think their $100 minimum payout is just stupid.
I have tried lots of cpa offers and each month I try new ones. I can't tell specifics here but I will reveal best performing offers to the new lucky buyer of this website. There are some areas where visitors click the most and areas where cpm ads are best performers. Everything will be revealed to the buyer in detail.
Overall, I haven't let any offer stay longer than 2 weeks. I like to experiment a LOT with the site. I always look forward to beating the best performers again and again.

Traffic Details
Traffic to this website is AWESOME. You can get 3,000+ visitors each day without spending a single cent. Traffic comes from organic results from Google, Yahoo (#1 for keyword "celebrity oops") Bing, Ask, Google Images, etc. Visitors are mostly looking for sexy celebrity pictures with tons of different keywords and variations. The "oops" related keywords attract a lot of visitors also.
The site reaches over 50,000 people each month with over 300,000 page views. Most visitors come from USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Germany. The site is quantified with Quantcast you can check the stats: http://www.quantcast.com/celebrityoops.tv
